Internet service
providers and telecommunications carriers typically have had to assemble
their digital communications connections using multiple service and
equipment suppliers, leading to additional work, cost and coordination
problems. In addition, all wireline-based solutions have had to rely
on either the telephone or cable company's network to reach the last
mile to connect to the end-user's location. With our services, we
will emphasize a one-stop broadband service solution for our customers
so that they can connect to our network at a single location or "port"
within a serving area, and from that port, access all end-users with
a broadband connection. This service solution includes:
- Extending
our Networks to Customers and End-Users. We provision links between
our carrier customer's network and their end-user's location via
our intra-market ATM/Wireless facilities. We provide a "Central
Office- class" hub point in each market (primarily located
in data centers and/or collocation sites) which is specifically
designed for us. Carrier customers interconnect high-capacity
facilities from their network to our regional ATM backbone. We
install the necessary wireless modem equipment and/or wiring at
the end-users locations, test the link, configure customer and
end-user bridges, routers or switches, then monitor the circuits
from the network operations center.
- End-User
Premises Wiring and Wireless Subscriber Modem Configuration. We
use our own and subcontracted field service crews and trucks to
perform any required inside wiring and to configure wireless subscriber
modems at each end-user site.
